The Brief

We are supporting a cohort of students, aged 16-18, with managing their health and wellbeing ahead of their upcoming exams and transition to life after school.
In our group discussions about what they want to achieve, they have expressed their interest in a wide range of career aspirations. However, many are unsure as to what path to take following school and are lacking thoughtful advice and input from people that they can relate to.
As a young professional, your personal reflections on your time since school will be an invaluable resource for these students. After speaking with friends & clients in their 20's, I have noticed it is often easy to downplay what they have achieved to date in their careers. However, just a few notes on your experiences can provide direction and insight that will go a long way for a young student. This is something I would have found so beneficial and by taking part you will make a real impact on their development.

Your Contribution

I will be dedicating this newsletter to feature the range of responses to the questions below. For your wider context, both Robbie and I are reaching out to close friends, who are young working professionals in their 20s. That being said, if you know of anyone who you feel would provide an insightful reflection by all means please send them this link. We are extremely passionate about supporting young people and recognise that the key is in sharing from our experiences.

"As Zak's younger brother he has really helped me with my own personal development and working out what I want to do in the future. Ironically, I am now planning to study psychology at university in September and have received four offers. I think this newsletter will be extremely powerful for myself and anyone in a similar position to read.”
